It's all in the dressing, really. Herbs cover many a sin, no matter what you're cooking Also, one word- DAIYA The mozzarella flavor is just about the most AMAZING thing I can think of. I smash that stuff together, marinate it, and chunk it up for salads. DEAR GOD.

Go for it! LOL. I read this thread and I instantly thought of the "Everybody Loves Raymond" Episode where they made the ToFu Turkey and it looked like a jelli turkey!!!

YES that is my biggest fear. If I can't make it without anyone giving it even the side eye, I'm not going to attempt it at all. I'll of course have it sliced on a platter, because durr...it looks all weird in a hunk like that

Go to Home | cookforlove.org and they have recipes for a vegan Thanksgiving meal closer to Thanksgiving that they post. I made the dressing last year (with regular bread not lo pro) and my husband loved it! And he's one of those who NEEDS his meat.

All of the recipes are made for lo pro diets but using regular flour will make them normal again. Several of them end us being gluten free too.

I just wanna say that you're so AWESOME for being vegan I was a vegetarian for almost 3 years and that was pretty tough at times. I could never imagine being vegan.

Also, good luck with your dinner! I really hope you manage to pull it off! People need to know that vegetarian/vegan food can also be just as delicious as everything else.

ETA: I like this lady's recipes... they're always vegetarian and she always gives a vegan option. Check it out maybe you'll find something you like she's got some YUMMY lookin' desserts!

Come what may, I will love you until the end of time.
