    Location pros/cons

    Advertisements
    The top 10 suggestions for a large-scale g2g were:

    California (San Deigo top choice)
Missouri (St Louis or Kansas City)
    Nevada (Las Vegas)
    Colorado (Denver)
    Virginia (Virginia Beach)
    Illinois (Chicago)
    Texas (Dallas)
    Nebraska (Omaha)
    Florido (Orlando)
    Minnesota (Mall of America)

Ok, to keep this thread as coherent as possible, please make each post about one location, and place that location in the subject line of your thread. List as many pros/cons as you KNOW (speculation is nice, but definite knowledge of an area is most helpful) so that everyone can read through this thread and get good info from people who have been to/lived in each location, before the final location poll!

****Again, if you have things to say about more than one location, please make more than one post, and add the location in the subject line of the post about it. Thanks!****

    Nebraska

Cheaper accommodations than Virginia Beach and San Diego

    More central location.

More "neutral" instead of CA which could win simply because a lot of people live there. So its not extremely expensive for the rest to travel all the way across the US and the same for VA

    Denver

It's semi in the middle. All airlines fly into the Denver airport. Plus it's close for me.

Denver or Dallas... you can usually get great airfare into either city.

    St. Louis!
TONS to do. Zoo and Science Center are both free and family-friendly. City Museum us amazing and also kid-friendly. Great nightlife with a good local music scene. Lots of theatres and museums. Awesome little neighborhoods such as the U-City Loop and Soulard and are full of specialty shops and antiques. Huge sports city. Tons of regular shopping. The Riverfront. Six Flags St. Louis. Theres is something for every one.

You can find accomodations at any price range. Very centrally located with a large enough airport that it would be easy to fly from anywhere. Highways are fairly easy to navigate and you can be almost anywhere in the City/County in 1/2 an hour, depending on traffic.

    Plus, I live there. lol
