I love traveling. And I moved to California like 2.5 years ago before I met Eric, leaving the town i lived in for 23 years, left my friends, left my family. Luckily my best friend moved 2 hours south because her then boyfriend (now her husband) is a SEAL so they're stationed in Coronado. I moved in with my brother and his wife which made the move easier. Met Eric a little over a year later and I live with him now. But yeah, you'll adjust to moving away. I get homesick every once in awhile, and i go back to visit Texas like once a year, but being with Eric makes it tons easier to stay out here Had I not met him, I prob would have moved back to TX by now. And I dont have much advice on long distance as we have never been long distance yet... The time will come tho when he gets deployed again... Not looking forward to that :/

I'm Cat and I'm married to a career Marine (Eric) who is currently on recruiting duty (pretty much the suckiest duty ever haha), but he has about a year and a half left in that duty, and about 10 years left in the Marines. We're in Southern California, but are both from Texas. Not sure where we'll get stationed next, but I'm so ready to move lol

Hello! Thanks for the friend request My name is Brittany and I am 21. DH just recently joined the Marines and leaves in couple months for basic.

Yesterday I was sick and stayed home from work. Trevor called me to make sure I was okay. He was so sweet. "Babe I gotta go to school I love you. bye." Were his last words and from there I knew he was up to something. I rolled over and went back to sleep. I woke up about 30 minutes later and checked my phone... "Baby my mom is bringing you medicine. I know you dont want her to see you sick so I will have her leave it on the door." next a text from his mom "You need fever reducer. I will bring it. What is your favorite drink. And no buts or dont go out of your way. I will leave it on your porch" Wanting to protest but knowing I couldnt I called Trevor. "Babe I will get better dont make her do that" "she is on her way to late" "but" "but you need to get some rest. love you bye"

He is so sweet. Across the country and he still makes me feel better when I am sick.. Awe
