How I Met My Military Significant Other:

We met in our seventh grade advisory class. He asked me to "go out with him" and it's been (seven year) quite the adventure ever since! Though there have been periods of separation, we always returned to one another and are very much so in love. We're ready to tackle this next leg of the journey together!

About Me:

I'm currently a degree in Social Work at OU. I'm also a single mom (hah well part of the time) and enjoy watching my son Paxton grow up waaay too quickly. He was born on 12/3/09. Through my (soon-to-be) Marine being far far away, I'm learning more and more about myself everyday.

About Us:

He's my best friend and he helps me raise Pax, my son from a previous relationship. We're madly in love and eagerly anticipating the day when we can FINALLY say "I do."

Interests & Hobbies:

Writing, reading, learning as much as possible from the environment I'm surrounded by. I love nature and have a deep appreciation for the arts. Music is always my comfort and occasionally I'll even venture into cooking. I strive to be an all-organic Mamma so we're into cloth-diapering and all that madness...for some reason that seems to qualify as an interest because I swear there's a whole subculture of it!
Honestly though, who has time for hobbies anymore!? While my man is away, I'm trying to take up crocheting and felting...we'll see how that goes!
