How I Met My Military Significant Other:

Through our church!
We were on a young adults retreat. He was in the churches intern program so we had to wait 7 months before we could pursue a relationship. I then went to Haiti for 10 weeks and we drifted apart. 3 months after i returned (a year after we first met) we started dating, hit engaged 9 months later and married 3 months after that :) we've been happily married for 16 months ♡

About Me:

I'm 22, i was born in Independence, Mo.but have grown up in the Florida Panhandle. I'm a Christian and a "mom" of twin kittens! My cats act like toddlers and ate always being into trouble. I've been married to my husband since October 15, 2015. He just recently decided to join the Marine Corps. I'm a little nervous, but also very excited for the adventures to come!

We're both ambiverts. He leans a little more towards extrovert and I lean a little more towards introvert. We both love to read. He is great at video games, I SUCK at video games. But all of our differences complement each other. We're best friends. I honestly don't know what I'd do without him.
