Hey! I thought about you the other day. How Is everything going?

Oh lol good to know!! I'm just hoping that you're right and its not an official assignment or that he will not be there too long. But even if it is I'm willing to work through it. I'm just trying to continue to be supportive. I think he needs reassurance rn. He's never been quite as religious as me but I am also encouraging him pray as I continue to pray for him. We both need a lot of strength right now. But I hope you're right and we'll be okay. I believe in us. I hope everything with your DB goes really well and I can only hope to be as lucky as you haha. I think that may actually be exactly it. He got stationed in Germany and he said he doesn't feel comfortable leaving his "other half all the way across the world" and is afraid of if something happens to him. I think we're both pretty emotional rn so I thought it best to say maybe we should turn in for the night and talk tomorrow. I ended by saying that I love him and pray for him every night and that I'm willing to take the chance. I can tell he's really scared. I don't want to say anything wrong. At the end of the day anything could happen to either of us at any point of any day and I just don't want to end things over possibilities. Tomorrow is never promised. His fear is rational but I just hope he's able to think through it. I'm trying my best to show him that I'm here for him and willing to go through it all with him. But I feel like maybe I'm being a little selfish. I'm just confused I guess. Also what does DB mean btw?

Thank you for your post. It was one of the kindest and most helpful I've received since I joined. After speaking to my boyfriend, it's sort of as I expected. He's terrified. And as his personality would have it, when he's scared he closes off. He's scared about deployment and how our relationship will fare and if I'll be able to handle it all. I really don't know how I can convince him because of course it's all new to me too. I'm scared too. All I have to offer is love so I guess at this point all I can do is hope that he gives me the chance to SHOW him that we can do it. Any advice on how to continue would be so so helpful. I don't wanna lose him over "what ifs"

Best degree you could ever have for the military lifestyle IMO. I have never had a problem finding jobs and I have worked both civilian and military hospitals. There typically so much demand for nurses most hospitals don't worry to much about you being military. Just depends on where you are though.

I got married on Monday! Been a little busy with the honeymoon, visiting family and preparing to move so I haven't gotten around to posting pictures, but they will be coming soon!

YAY!!! at least you have a few hours with him thats great ! & during base liberty you can do anything thats on base you just cant leave the base.We went to the BX (there shopping center) and just shopped around, theres a theater on base (I was there when superman vs batman come out & the theater was sold out the whole time we were there so we went to one off base when he had a town pass) & if your hotel is on base thats even better because most likely he'll just want to relax & EAT good food lol. Thats what my DB kept saying everytime I asked him what he wanted.. his response was SLEEP & GOOD FOOD lol.

lol its totallly fine I usually just check it every once in a while. But for graduation weekend I went with his family we went out to eat, went to the movies, and did the river walk. I stayed an extra day so that we had a day to ourselves which was the BEST decision I ever made because after two months with little communication & not being able to see each other we had alot of catching up to do. the weekend goes by sooo fast tho -___- . Everyone wanted to be in my boyfriends face I am like I cant wait until you guys all leave so I can have him all to MYSELF lol (but thats just me, i want him to myself all the time) I never want to share him. lol yes not even with his family

Im glad it did! & girl i wanted to jump on him too but as soon as i saw him all i did was hug him sooo tight & his MTI was extremely close to where we where so I didnt want to do anything that would get him in trouble later on but once I got closer to him i jetted towards him and jumped in his arms. it was the BEST feeling ever. I am sooooo excited for you. when do you go to see him? & yes hes going to Nellis AFB.
