How I Met My Military Significant Other:

Grew up together, he was my annoying "little brother". (Our mums were friends.) Then we became best friends. Somewhere in there we fell in love with each other.

Then his friend (overseas) punched him until he agreed to tell me. He came home on leave for the first time in 2 years since joining the Navy.

About Me:

I love the outdoors, my ideal day would be sitting under a willow by a stream, with a paperback book or two and no need to be anywhere.

I love animals, always have. When I retire, I hope to get my wildlife rehab licence. I'd also like to write.

About Us:

He is my best friend. We used to stick fight and ride horses together. I've given him more bloody noses than is probably healthy. Everyone else saw it, just took us some time and distance to realize we were in love with each other.
