I like Worcester so far. I don't know many people. I'm trying to meet new people. I've been here about 3 weeks and a week after we moved here, DF left for annual training, so I've been alone for almost two weeks now. He'll be home Wed!!!

I mean facebook pages for their platoons I think. I heard that some have them during basic so you can see what they do and possibly see them in a picture. I am looking, but it seems like I am looking for a needle in a haystack

Yeah I need to go print out some pictures soon! I have included songs lyrics, 100% are corny but I like them! ahhaa

Btw I heard that for basic there are facebook pages, but I am not sure how to find it. Not sure if you know what I am talking about?

Yeah are, things aren't as bad as I thought it would be. I thought I was going to be a huge emotional wreck but I realize I have no time for that and that I need to be strong. And plus letters are fun, it has been a long time since I sent out letters

I got a call two weeks ago Tuesday and he called me today to see how he was and passed his address. I was so happy! I can now send my huge stack and he can get a huge shower of my letters! :]

Being away from and SO does teach you a lot and it really does shape your character. Some days you are strong, and other days you just want to bawl your eyes out, but you keep moving forward, and that builds strength.
Taz and I...we have always been off-and-on in our relationship because we were always so scared of being hurt. But now, this last time that we have gotten together has been the best. I can honestly say that, we are at the point where I always wanted to be, where I trust her fully, and she is fighting for me just as much as I am fighting for her.

In her letters she becomes more tired, stressed, and angry with the other girls in her barrack which is why I can't show any negative emotions when I write her back...because...she needs the optimism, needs to see how strong and supportive I am for her. I send her journals and funny pictures. And she graduates June 7th...and for AIT, I have even figured out how I am going to propose to her.

But hun...you and your SO will be fine as long as you stay strong and remain positive and loving for him. Are you going to his graduation? If so...you should totally tell him that you love him there

Yeah...I'm starting to learn that as well.
In my blog I compared my receiving letters from her like our cuddle time and making love when she was still home. It feels the same as if it's a big deal. I just got another letter yesterday, I guess it turns out that she has been writing me every couple of days or so to remind me that she has not forgotten about us which is sweet. June is right around the corner, then I can see her for two days which will be nice. And thank you, I wish you and your SO all the best as well. I know that in the end, sticking it out will be rewarded.

Yeah I am hoping! This 'no contact' part is kind of difficult but I know that at the end of the rainbow I can see him. Time will tell and hopefully see where the both of us stand after basic

Well my situation is a bit different. We were together for over a year and two months ago before he ended the relationship thinking it was the best thing for both; he can focus while I wouldn't feel "tied down". I understand what he means but I don't plan to go anywhere. He says he still loves me and that he still wants to write letters, call and visit when he can, which give me hope. At first it just felt awkward since we still hung out, it was mostly me thinking that since I thought "you are not my boyfriend, but I still love you and want to show that, but why would I still act like that" it was me over thinking pretty much everything.

As of now, we kind of got over the awkward stage a month ago. When we saw each other it felt like nothing happened, we show affection, we still laugh, and have fun; you can tell the love is still there; its just that its not "official" anymore.

That is how I came to this site. I am going to be there for him no matter what, show him I will go thru thick and thin for him because he is worth it. Hopefully see what happens in the future, I feel very optimistic since he said he wants me at his graduation and when he called he also said he loves me :]
