Hey, hun! I'm doing well! I'm hoping you were able to hear from your DH too. Any news from him? Just hang in there and try to stay busy so that you're not too preoccupied with the deployment. You know how busy they are when they're there.

Oh, yes, my DH is currently deployed to Afghanistan, but I expect him home sometime in May. It's been a long deployment, but we're finally down to the homestretch. Just counting down now!

I think we are kind of the same person ... my DB moved around the same time as yours! We've had a little bit of contact since but this is really the least we've talked in 6 months (while he was at the large base it was pretty much every day, and when he went on missions at least I'd somewhat know when to expect to hear from him again). I'm only on day 4 ... I can't imagine how you are feeling after 11 ! I hope you hear from him soon!

That is definitely understandable, moving internationally would be hard especially if you aren't married since they won't pay for you to move with him. All you can really do is just take one day at a time - I'm trying so hard not to worry about the future or all the bad things that could happen - I think I'd literally go insane!

I have to finish up my degree first - I have 3 more semesters. Looking to graduate December 2013. how long would your LDR have to be? Do you know where his next duty station is likely to be?

Aw you're almost half way through! That sounds like fun I see DB every few weeks or so. For the first 5 months of our relationship we were only 20 minutes away from each other and for the end of those 5 months he lived with me. Now he is down in Lejeune so we don't get to talk very much since he is training a lot

Aw I am sure! He will be back in 4 I guess? He'll get some post deployment leave, right? I am sure you are excited for him to come home!

I love Maryland...it's great being so close to DC and yet still close to the country. It's only about 6 hours down to Lejeune, so not too bad. We've been together for 7 months. How about you and your DB
