Since he is just coming into a relationship after being in, what I am going to assume to be a bad break up, its probably going to be rough for him. Just be patient and support him. Don't sweat the small stuff. You still have a VERY long time before deployment comes.

As far as understanding the military, well nothing but time and experience is going to help that. MSOS is fully of very knowledgeable people who know so much about this life style.

And just as a pointer for on this website...although it is a informal forum for the most part posters appreciate half way decent grammar. Just make sure to put periods at the end of thoughts and things like that. You don't have to get fancy its just makes it hard to read a giant run-on paragraph.

Yes he is he is lance corp and that's what I fear of the most is him deploying he kinda keeps a lot bottle up about his past and doesn't want to tell me what his past is and yeah the fighting came out of no where Nd its petty it's mostly me Im so used to having a bf I can't see all the time nd call and text whenever I want he's my first military bf so idk how to act or anything and I want to understand what he is going thro and why he is the way he is but he never wants to open up because he's scared of getting hurt I'm his first gf in 2 years and his first gf since his ex fience

You said your SO is in the Marines right? My husband is on deployment right now and it has been extremly tough for the both of us. As far as arguing goes.....what are your fights about if you care to share, has it just started happening all of a sudden? Is it over petty stuff?
