The only thing i have ever put on a envelope is I numbered the back so she knew which order to read them, because that's what she was doing for my envelopes...

She is Echo Company...3rd Platoon Reapers I believe is what it is.
I don't know their policies. But this far into the training, I am not even holding my breath for a phone call from her anymore. Not with the way she tells me how lazy the other girls in her team are. Because they only get phone calls when they win challenges, right?

Well, she would love to get pelted with letters, but, at Fort Jackson, if you get too many letters in one week you get punished for it. You have to do a bunch of push-ups and then whatever other exercises just so that they will give you the letter in the first place. She is probably exhausted it's alright. I just make sure that I write her a lot to compensate.

The last journal I sent her was 9 pages, not even including my response letter, and then, the journal before that was 15 pages not even including my response letter. So, she is covered

I'm actually thankful that she got my first letter, and she has been writing me every couple of days. I only respond as i get them because that's what she made me promiseto do, because, otherwise, she knew that I would be writing her every single day and that she would be pelted with letters hahaha.

So far I have gotten two letters, and it's funny, because she has not even received one of mine yet...she will not even get the first one until Sunday when they do mail call. She still has not been able to talk to me over the phone yet...and because I work a night-shift and what-not, I'm afraid that her being able to call me at a time where she will get something more than my voice mail is not even possible
But that's great that your girl is back home...I bet that makes you estatic!!!

Thank you for the advice. Love your picture is so adorable, and I cannot wait to see my baby in her uniform <3
    But yes...I have been staying as busy as possible, and because I have so many hobbies, it really is not that hard. I think I log on to this site every morning when I get home from work, and spend more time on here than on Facebook. ^^;

It's just nice to know that my feelings are normal and that others have survived this, so I can know? What are some of the things that you do when your woman is away? I paint...and draw.

I posted in the group already...but my name is Amelia.
My g/f just got sent to BMT not even a week ago, and I could really use the help in getting through this new transition. So if you would like to get in touch, please let me know.

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Charity and my gf is deployed right now (short one this time) but a longer one in December. I would love to make friends to help me through this process.

Idk if I'd want to live on post. I think the worst is not being covered by tricare. I don't get benefits at my job so if anything happens to me we'd be in a tough spot

I think it'd be cool to live in dc haha. but like I said, anywhere but here is good with me

Yeah i really hate it here and I'd pretty much rather live anywhere else. Not everyone is bad, but its hard to feel safe enough to find out who i can trust if that makes sense

Not yet, but hopefully some day
Current Location/ Duty Station:
New Jersey
How I Met My Military Significant Other:
We had a class together and after trying so hard to talk to her, i finally got the guts and we started hanging out as 'friends', then a few short months later, we were official. :]
About Me:
I am soon to be a senior at a small college in NJ. I plan to graduate next December, and have an intimate wedding in the Spring 2013. I intend on going to grad school shortly after, and I hope having my fiancé in the Army National Guard won't interfere too much with our plans.
About Us:
Although it is sometimes hard to have someone in the military, I know this is all worth it, and I am so proud of her. I can't wait call her my wife, and I know we can overcome all the obstacles the military brings.
Interests & Hobbies:
reading, writing, psychology stuff
Dream Sheet:
Now that Don't Ask Don't Tell is repealed, I feel comfortable enough saying that I love my fiancé, and that nothing can tear us apart. I hope soon enough, I will be able to have the benefits every other heterosexual couple receives once she and I marry.

God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you"
