I'm actually in high school still unfortunately... I dropped out of school and then went back... I'm hoping to get accepted into college for PT/OT this upcoming fall...

Not a problem. I've been busy myself finishing up papers for school and getting ready for the long holiday that probably will fly by for me. Thanks again.

Thanks for adding me... I'm so happy you responded to my thread so quickly... Sometimes, even though I know there are others out there going through all of this, I almost feel alone... If it wasn't for my other half being so good with all of this I don't know what I'd do... Thanks for reaching out to me... It's great to meet someone who understands...

it is but it isnt. if they get deployed for six months then they have six months of relax time where they cant be deployed unless they choose. and if they are gone for a year then they have a year of relax time before they are forced to deploy. thats what i am happy about because DB just got done with deployment in early may so he has a choice to go back early or not. but its a bumber if he has to go right after his relax time is because then he will be missing my birthday again this year

Well that's a little bit of a relief. I think he had mentioned something about having the choice, which doesn't make sense to me. I always though it was mandatory or something.

He's been deployed for 3 years this month. We got together on his last visit. He was in Afganistan for a year and a half and now he's stationed in Germany too.
