Hanging in there! Getting suuuuuper impatient though! Some people I know are already home and I'm so jealous! I saw a pic today of DB getting an award over there though, so that's pretty cool. It's nice to hear he is doing "outstanding" work.

How excited are you?! I know you have to be seeing him soon, since it's getting close for me and I have to wait until way after the last homecoming.

You know, one week ago, I probably would have never believed it would fly by, but now i think you're right I can do this, it's only a few months.

He called! I've never been so dang happy in my life. He sounded so calm while i was fumbling for words and talking fast. Times like these... make everything else seem okay.

Awwh, what's his or her name? I have a chihuahua, her name's presley and she is most definately a brat, my DB hates her because she always growls at him I'm a senior and not yet, but soon... I cannot believe it's almost here! I graduate on June 16th and I'm going to community college for a year, maybe two because I'm the youngest child of three, and my parents can't afford to send all of us to a university at the same time. (My older sister is in her third year of college at VCU. I live in Virginia, by the way. I want to go to Virginia Tech, it's such a great school and it's away from the city and I'm a huge fan of the country. I live in Northern Virginia so I'm surrounded by the 2nd worst traffic, else than new york because we're so close to the Marine base Quantico and D.C. Spending the summer without him isn't going to be a highlight, but I got a job offer to work as an assistant for a Dental office. That's what I want to be, a Dentist.

I tried on my cap and gown again last night, our colors are black & red, but the gowns black, and I either look like a nun or a penguin I can't quite decide

Oh my you must be busy! What job do you have? You're very right, it is only temporary and with every day it gets a little easier. Thank you! I'm still waiting on a phone call, but I'm expecting about 2 weeks before I hear from him. I'm trying to stay busy... The hardest part will be spending the summer without him. It's my last summer before college and I really wish he was here, but don't we all? Everytime we're away, it makes me realize how special he is and how much he means to me and in many ways I feel the distance makes a heart grow fonder. Aww what type of dog do you have?
