Thanks but I pretty much told him in an email last night what everyone has said..this is the last email till I hear from you. But it hurts so bad and all my friend is fussing about is how she is upset cuz she don't know when her df will be coming home now cuz they changed his dates. I told her at least she hears from him

I'm in WEST Tn, in Memphis.. He is at Fort Campbell, when he gets back, which is only about 3 hours from me... so it works for us.. it won't be long now before he retires... so I'm super excited about that... we met just in NOVEMBER, right before he deployed, so REALLY we' haven't been together that long, before this deployment, I'm ready for him to get back on leave, so we can spend some QUALITY time together!!

I think we sent each other a message at the same time.. , I'm a total newbie on here, just trying to figure all this out... my man is deployed there too... I miss him like CRAZY!!!!!! Trying to figure my way around this site, I'm soooo glad I stumbled onto it!!! I'm Selena....

Thanks for the warm welcome!! He's getting ready to enlist actually. The earliest he could possibly be going to basic is September.

I hear ya! all this new military action has me a little worried as well. We were just penpal friends for almost the whole first year but when that deployment was over we progressed fast and have not slowed down since then. before I started coming to this website I had no idea how many girls met their soliders online. But then when you think about it these guys spend most of their lives deployed or in other positions where "traditional" dating isn't always an option.

I'm sure the back and forth is frustrating. LOL I'm actually the one that brings up we can't have actual dates, which frustrates DB. He insists we can have dates while deployed. We watched a movie together once but its not the same. I hope both of you are doing well and it all works out when he gets home. Do you have a long way to go before he is back? DB's return dates keep going back and forth so we really don't know even an approx timeframe yet.
