How I Met My Military Significant Other:

I had known Andrew all through highschool, but he was a farm boy and I was a city girl. And while I had liked him then, I wasnt sure that it would work, and I was so shy in highschool. So we both Graduated, and went our seperate ways.
A few months ago, a mutals family friend of both of ours kept telling me that I should really talk to this great guy Andrew, and so finally one day after I worked up the courage, I sent him an e mail, and its been a fairytale ever since. He is my Soldier and my Hero, and I am his Princess.

About Me:

I am an LPN, but currently looking for a Nursing Opening.
I am finishing a final semester of College and coming home Dec 2010 to enjoy a final few months here at home before I am Married.
I am outgoing, fun loving, and down to earth. I dont let the small things get to me, life is so much more than that.
Im a typical Iowa girl. I love camping, the outdoors, sports, hiking, and of course nothing beats a day at the lake! :-)

About Us:

Andrew was born in Germany in a Military Base, and I am a born and raised Iowa girl.
Before we ever started dating Andrew sent me flowers at work, and the moment I saw those red white and blue flowers on the desk, I knew I loved Him. And from that day on it has been a fairy tale story. I cant imagine life without him.
We live simply, the glitz and the glam may be the life that most want and love, but me and andrew, its the small moments in life that get us, the moments sitting there on the couching laughing till tears stream down my face, or fall asleep in easch others arms...thos mean more to us than all the "bling" in the world ever will

Interests & Hobbies:

painting, writing, photography, piano, cooking, gardening, design and decorating...and most of all Nursing!

Dream Sheet:

Andrew dreams of being a farmer, so his dream would be for the Military to keep him close enough to chase that dream. My dream and hope is that no matter where the Military leads him, he is safe. He has almost been deployed 2 other times with other military units, but has been lucky enough to stay here at home with all of us. But being the only unit from His batallion not yet gone to Afganistan, the chances are very high for a futuer deployment.

Music:

Bluegrass is Andrews Fav, but mine would be anything country, or christian.

Television:

Andrew loves family guy, but I love the medical shows on TLC and 19 kids and counting and of course Army Wives

Movies:

Anything scary for both of us, but then anything romantic for me.

Reading:

Anything by Beverly Lewis or Max Lucado works for me.
