How I Met My Military Significant Other:

We've been friends for a long time, and we met through other mutual friends. We lost touch a little bit after he joined the Navy, but then one day he sent me a letter. We began to correspond, and eventually we both confessed that we'd had feelings for each other for a long time. After that, the rest was history!

About Me:

I am 28 years old, and am currently going back to school for Business Management. I am doing it online so that I can follow my sailor anywhere he needs to go without having to worry about future transfers.

About Us:

We were married in June of 2009, but we aren't living in the same place yet. Because of his impending deployment, we feel that it is best for me to remain near my family until he returns rather than to move to his area where I don't know anyone. Long distance is hard, but I hope it will just make the following years together more special!

Interests & Hobbies:

I love to dance, play tennis, read, write, and dream.

I have traveled a bit in my life, so I don't really have too many specific dreams about location. I hope that the military will continue to be his dream because it seems to make him very happy to serve in the Navy. As long as it continues to take us to happiness, I'll go wherever he needs to go.
