Happy Saturday! How is everything going?

oh, that's good! i hope you have a good visit with your mom and enjoy your leave... so you are a corpsman as well? that's neat! and yes, with being active duty and having an 18 month old i'm sure you are very busy! i loved that age... my son is about to turn 8 next week. ugh, i can't believe it. he's such a big kid now! i love every age and stage, but i remember really enjoying the 18 months stage.... i do hope you enjoy your visit, being with family helps a lot i think.

i'm doing ok so far, he's only been gone for 2 1/2 months, and it does feel like forever.... if i think of how much more we have to go it seems overwhelming, but i try to break it up with smaller increments of time and keep things planned so that it doesn't feel so long. my family is in va (hampton roads area) so that is nice, it's only 4 hours away. how are you hanging in there? keeping busy?

hi! my dh is a corpsman too! and in afghanistan.... ugh. i have been here for about a year now.... it's ok here, all what you make of it i suppose. thanks for the message... i'm new to the site and still trying to figure everything out... i'm *so* not a computer person! i feel like a fish outta water trying to follow threads and post things and quote... ugh! can't figure it all out. thanks for the hello and i hope you are having a good night as well!

Today I'm feeling like you were yesterday. *sigh* This deployment is kicking my ass.

Better. MIL sent pics of kids on bus, said they are having a blast. And hubby called last night and this morning quickly so that makes things a lot easier. Today I've been trying to keep busy--tackling the kitchen, fridge, oven, cabinets, the works. Might as well have some good come out of all this! LOL How are you today?

Thanks for stopping by! Wow y'all are both corpsmen! I hope you get to here from your DH often... If you don't mind me asking how was your experience with being greenside? I know everyone has a different perspective but DF really struggles with it sometimes being out of student status has helped alot though
