So I found a recipe that sounded good and I'm still trying to find meals that are semi health conscious that DH will also enjoy. I changed some of the ingredients but it turned out REALLY well!! Dh loved it too!
Million Dollar Spaghetti Cassarole
1 lbs Lean ground beef (I used 90/10)
8 oz of cream cheese (I used low fat)
1/4 cup Sour cream (low fat)
1/4 cup cottage cheese (reduced fat)
1 lbs whole wheat pasta any shape you like
1 package shredded cheese (I used reduced fat)
1 jar spaghetti sauce (whatever kind you use normally)
You can add sliced mushrooms, olives or onions if you want.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brown hamburger meat, sautee any veggies you want to add with meat and drain excess fat.
Boil pasta to al dente
Spray a light coat of cooking spray into 13 x 9 baking dish
Spread half of the pasta on bottom of baking dish
Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream together until semi-smooth
Spread cheese mixture on top of first layer of pasta
Spread remaining pasta on top of cheese layer
Pour meat and sauce mixture over the second pasta layer
Bake 30 min then remove from oven and spread shreded cheese over the top
Bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly
