Jimmy Dean's Reduced Fat Pork Sausage

    Advertisements
..... is wonderful! I'm a little un-impressed with lots of the reduced-fat, reduced-sodium offerings; some of them seem so bland. However, the JD Pork Sausage Light (it has the green stripe near the name) is really, really good. It's not 'reduced-sodium' but it's do-able, but the reduced fat content is pretty substantial, and it tastes great. I used it in a quiche this morning and I had some left over and have been nibbling on it. It's not heavily spiced but there is a definite zip to it. It even looks better in the bowl. I'll use it for breakfast burritos, cheese-sausage balls, and also just as plain sausage patties. It's got 50% less fat!

I didn't see the big three-pounder, it was only in the one-pound roll. I guess you could buy two of them.......
