    Sesame Seeds and Nuts

    Advertisements
Hello! I am severly allergic to sesame seeds and nuts, but since I found out about my allergies 12 years ago, I have always missed chinese food! I haven't been able to find any good recipes and DB loves to get chinese! Does anyone have any good recipes or suggestions that I could make for the both of us?

Are you allergic to peanuts too? I know some people aren't since it's not "technically" a nut and all. I'll try to think of some recipes I've made and whether they could be made without any sesame/nuts.

No peanuts for me! Super weird, but I got lucky with avoiding that one! It's mostly just tree nuts! Thanks for asking

    I found an awesome website.
Nut Free Wok - Allergy Aware Asian Fare

It is all nut free. I am sure some of it has sesame in it, so that would have to be either left out or replaced. I know somethings have sesame oil, but that is easily replaced by other oils.

This one looks super yummy! I love pineapple fried rice!

If you want to saute stuff, I would use peanut oil, since you're not allergic to peanuts. It will have a richer flavor closer to sesame oil.

Also there's simple stuff like eggdrop soup, wontons, fried rice, that you should be able to make nut free pretty easily
