For those of you who use mostly credit cards and pay them off every month, do you pay bills using the card too or do you have bills coming out of your bank account? I'm just wondering how other people do it.

Any bills that are automatic draft come off of my credit card, but the rest I typically pay from checking (a lot of them require a bank account or charge extra for paying via credit card). I only use my debit basically twice a month when I get paid to pay bills, so I don't have to keep up with balancing it which is why I make sure the auto drafts come off of credit.
I pay almost everything with my credit cards because I get points and cash back. But I'm diligent at paying them off each month. Otherwise you are just paying interest for points![]()
I have all of the regular bills including insurance, utilities, and mortgage come directly out of the bank account. The only routine bills I have on a CC is the gym membership and EZPass. I have had too many frauds (Home Depot and Target one) on my CC to have regular bills paid with it. Every time I get a new card I have to update accounts, it is awful.
I pay whatever bills I can with my CC so I can get the points.

I put cash in separate envelopes every week and when the bills is due, I put the cash in my bank account and pay it.

I've had to change card numbers so many times in the last year or so that I think I'm gonna switch everything over to the bank account. Points are nice, but it just seems so much easier the other way.
