I love using my slow cooker. Today I went simple and just put in seasoned beef chuck blade steak with a pack of gravy mixed with half a cup of water and a small red/purple onion. It was really tender and then I served it with white rice.

4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. I've done both - both taste the same. I usually do the 4 hours on high though, because I don't have time for 8 or I'm too hungry to wait.

I made this last winter on a group ski trip and it was SOOOOOO yummy!!!
the chicken was so moist and falling apart; the dumpling/dough was soaked in soup flavor and I put in a dash of pepper for a little kick.
    I highly recommend
I've made that before, it certainly is One of my favorite meals!

My chili came out fantastically! DH complimented me on it...three times. Seeing as how he hardly ever raves about my cooking,

Taco soup, taco chicken & potato soup.

    For potato soup:
    3 cans of chicken broth
1 can of cream of chicken soup
    1 bag of hash browns
    salt & pepper to taste

cook on medium for 6-8hrs. I just leave it on all day until dinner.

then like 2 hrs before serving add one pack of cream cheese & a can of (drained) sweet corn. Serve with rolls. We had it for dinner again last night...yum!!
