How to get more Coupon Inserts?

The general rule to how many sunday newspapers for your family is totaled by how many are in your household. For example I have 5 in my family so I would need 5 papers a sunday. But if you want to stock up fast or don’t miss out on a great deal your going need more. Here are a few ways to get more coupon inserts:

1) Ask gas stations, dollar tree, hotels, coffee houses, or other local business that get sunday newspapers if you can have the inserts that are left.

2) Ask friends or family if they don’t want their inserts.

3) Buy inserts from ebay, HERE, or HERE

4) Ask your newspaper company if they give you a discount if you subscribe to a few sunday papers. That was no luck with me since the company here is striked about a limit.

5) BUT the best and fast way is Dumpster Diving! Just tried this out last week and it’s great. I got at least 40 inserts! I went to a recycling drop off location with a friend. My friend Kelli invited me along and it was nice to talk about coupons together lol! It was not gross and we didn’t jump in lol. We went to a location that has dumpsters that only has newspapers in the bin. So it’s clean and easy to get inserts. Go HERE to find a recycling center by you.

Just note that not many places will give you the extra inserts, because even though they just recycle them, it's really legal for them to give them to you unpaid Dumpster diving as well, but only if you get caught I suppose!

Also ask premission from Recycling Center or Recycling Drop of Location. I just started to do it. But a friend that has done it for years that invited me to go with never had an issue.

In a nutshell: US Supreme Court says garbage is public property. That said, there is mention throughout the sites in my google search that city to city ordinances may differ. But, as one PI said, those ordinances may not hold up against the Supreme Court's ruling.

I could never imagine. My best friends Uncle is mayor of our hometown so I didn't need to go that route.

I feel weird calling and asking stores if I can have their left over papers... I mean right across the street are two gas stations and I always pick up my Sunday papers at Dollar Tree on Saturday..

Has anyone ever had them save them for you and just give them out? I know they have to get rid of them, but I'm not sure what the chances of them giving them out for free are. I already buy 4 a week
