    Hot cocoa recipes?

    Advertisements
Anyone have a good one? I have some good Hershey's unsweetened cocoa and it has a recipe, I just didn't know if anyone had a good recipe that they use.

I use the recipe on the container, add a pinch of kosher salt, a pinch of cayanne pepper, and sometimes baileys.

What I love to do is take the Milk Hot Chocolate mixes, add hot water, and then add International Delight coffee creamer. The flavors that I loved was French Vanilla, Cinnabon, S'Mores, and Hazelnut.

We're mixing equal parts cocoa and sugar (using raw organic sugar and I finally like it) adding enough water to dissolve the sugar, and then filling the cup with milk.

Topping with marshmallows and/or whipped cream.

If I'm feeling creative, I add cinnamon extract, vanilla, orange extract, and/or coconut extract.

this but with cream instead of milk, mix it up on the stove, then pour into mugs
also works as a hot chocolate

This is how I have always made it too. In the microwave. It's good with a dash or two of Bailey's.

Warm some milk, mix pure cocoa (not a mix, just cocoa powder) and sugar/sweetener with a few teaspoons of the warm milk in the cup to avoid clumping, and then add the rest of the milk. Add a pinch of cinnamon.

    I hate the cocoa mixes.
