For The Ladies Who Had Big Weddings, How Long Did It Take You To Plan Your Wedding. From When You Got Engaged To The Day You Got Married?

Back Story: DB and I were on the phone talking about weddings LOL and he kept telling me it should only take 3 months at the MOST to plan a wedding!!!

I told him he was INSANE

and that I would consult you ladies and ask you what you thought about it...

He said Yall were gonna take his side...we shall see ROFL

We were engaged September 17th, and married December 14th...so...less than 3 months

Other...we got married at the courthouse and have yet to have a ceremony, and not with him leaving I dont know when we will be able to have one.

We got engaged in Dec 2000 and got married at the court house in Feb 2001

2-3 weeks

DH went to a 1 month school after BC. After he had been there a week or so, then we knew when he'd be able to come home on leave. So I had to plan our wedding in the 2-3 weeks before he got home.

it took us like 8 months to plan the wedding but we did do a JP wedding in the middle of that

It took about 1 1/2 years to fully plan everything. Moving didn't help. And we ended up getting hitched before the big ceremony anyhow.
