well i had our wedding planned, and invitations sent out...now the base decided to move up his leave date by 3 weeks...and there is no way he can change it...so i now have to finish our wedding plans within 2 weeks...what should i do about all the guests who have the wrong date on the invitations? is it proper etiquette to send new ones even though the wedding is in two weeks... or should i call all of them? HELP please -dw-

*I* would call all of them, rather than sending all new invitations.
BTW Welcome to SOS

Oh yes. We literally just went through that. We had our date changed 4 times. We had 176 people coming, only 130 showed up because we changed the date again. We sent out new invites to everyone local and called all of our out of town guests, but still sent them an invite so they had it on paper.
It is really crappy, but this happens a lot. I'd start getting used to it now. Good luck and WELCOME!!

So sorry this has happened. Sadly it is the first lesson in being a military SO. Expect change and be flexible. I would just call and e-mail everyone. That way you give them a heads up a lot quicker to try and change things around in their schedules. Welcome to our special life as military SO's and SOS.
