Wedding gown
Would it be wrong for me to wear one of my old wedding gowns when Andy and I get married? I mean the dress I want to wear is absolutely beautiful, its already altered and it's paid for. I really didn't want a big wedding, but it looks like that is what I am getting anyway. I thought of changing some of the beadwork on it to alter the look of it some. I just hate to think I have this beautiful dress that I would never wear again, and I just can't bare to part with it. What do ya'll think?? Will post pics if ya'll would like. TIA.

i guess to me, that would be karmically wrong... i mean, it was from a failed marriage, correct? i guess i'd feel like i was summoning up negatives from the past. (i'm weird, i guess)

Here's the dress. Not the greatest up close pic of it, but ya know. That's the thing. When the ex and I got married we did everything opposite of me and my 1st hubby and we still ended up divorced.
 I just don't know what to do. I don't want to spend a ****load on another dress. Hell I was happy with the idea of going to the courthouse, but his family won't allow that one, and so far neither will he.

It's a lovely dress, but personally- I would want to start fresh.

 I agree.. you dont have to spend a ton of money on a dress either I know you can find some pretty nice ones for a good price if you look around.

See. That's where the problem is coming up. The last time I got married, everything was different down to the new gown, the style and all of that. Everything from wedding #1 to wedding #2 was polar opposite....and both failed. I just hate the thought that I have to have another wedding to appease others. And then to think that Andy is doing it cause that's what his family wants. I mean, I hate the thought of him not being able to have a wedding because I have already had 2 but I just don't want the headache or any of that again. KWIM?
I wish I knew what to do.
