So Stressed. . .

We are having the "church" wedding in 2 weeks from tomorrow....
And nothing seems to be falling into place.
1) DH has 3 groomsmen... 1 is in NC (his cousin) 1 is here in town (his brother) and his bestman is an hour away in Tallahassee. Well... we need 1/2 down to order the tuxex. His cousin sent us the $37 but no meaurements. We have told his Mom again and she told them but alas... nothing. His brother Im not worried about I know he will do it. But Ray, his bestman... Josh hasn't talked to except on myspace in months. We have no money or measurements or nada on him. Josh is like don't worry about it which therefore makes my blood boil. HELLO! 14 DAYS TO THE WEDDING PEOPLE!!! God only knows what I will do... alteast my bridesmaids have their gowns.

2) We don't have ANY money for a photographer....
No one here in town is less than $500 and we can't afford $100 at this point. And his expensive cam is screwed cause it needs a new charger which is $150and the memory card walked away.... So, we have no proffesional pics. Yes, his Dad and sister have nice cams too, but his Dad is marrying us and his sister is a bridesmaid. I just am sooo crushed about this.

3) The lady doing my hair is a friend of Josh's family. She is Italian, from NY and VERY pushy... She wants me to get hair extensions to clip in to my hair so it will be longer and look better. But, I dont' want to look different I want to look like ME. I don't care if rule of them says bra strap if down. So, I said put it all up in ringlets inside my crown of pearls... she says no that won't look right since my dress in strapless. I do like the half up half down with ringlets in my crown and tons of curls hanging down but no extensions damnitt!!!!

4) We have NO money to go on our mini getaway we have been wanting. With the new place being high in rent and other bills it has been tough to have any left over... let along to throw away on a trp to Disney... And he is considered OPS at his job so the 5 days he took for the wedding and "get away" he doesn't get paid for... I despise this state ran f*ked up facilitys way of treating their employees who work way over 100+ hrs a pay period

5) I have no clue how to decorate the church...
My Aunt is suppose to be doing all the bouquets but I haven't seen or heard about them in a month! We have a million candles to decorate the fellowship hall so I guess that will be ok. Im not very craftsy to imagine it ahead of time without seeing it in place.
I have no money for gifts for my bridal party or for favors...

I AM LOSING MY EFFNG MIND AND JUST WANT TO BURY MY HEAD IN THE SAND AND SAY FORGET IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell we are already married who cares!!! Well... I know we have wanted to do this but that was when we could afford it. Before we got this place and got married early... And everyone just doesn't seem to GET it that we are very strapped for money right now... That I can't run out and buy buy buy....
If I had rich parents who didn't mind tossing money around or getting in debt to help me that would be awesome. Hell, we got turned down for a personal loan last night because our credits so bad... mine due to bankruptcy and Josh's due to his own issues. I just want it to all go away. Its not the wedding I wanted... It seems to be completely screwed... yet we have no choice but go through with it. Invitations are sent, plane tickets bought by some of his relatives out of state, $700 wedding gown,crown and veil in my bedroom.... I can't talk to DH about it because his answer to everything is... It will be ok Baby and Calm down... And then he thinks Im unhappy and don't want to have a wedding...
Someone just lift my spirts some... And damn it all this should have went in the venting forum...

You'll be fine, don't panic!! I had the same problem with my best man and in the end I just took a deep breath and told him to wear whatever the hell he likes. If he comes in a monkey suit it'll make for an interesting anecdote! Can Josh's sister or dad entrust their cameras to someone else to take pics during the ceremony? it sucks not to be able to get professional pics of your day but at least you'll come out with something. As for the hairdresser, it's YOUR day so you can have your hair however you want it - just tell her that you really appreciate her doing your hair but you want your hair to be all yours.

just take it easy and relax Cori, it will be ok...who cares if everything isn't perfect for the wedding. You already have what you need and want and thats what counts...just remember you have a wonderful husband and the best son you could ever ask for everything else is just icing on the cake. Everythign will fall into place just don't stress.

honestly, if you've already gotten married and that's what matters... why bother with a big shindig? since it's at his father's church and everything, just say screw it. enjoy your husband and your life together. take a little getaway with the $$ you'll save.

Sorry Well for your bridal party gifts you can get them something little or handmake something. Your hair: It's your hair and you get what you want done with it. I think that it will look beautiful either way but dont let her push you around. You will probably get money for your wedding and so with that you could use it towards yours professional pics. They usually let you pay that day!!! it will all work out and I hope this has helped.
