My Fiance and I decided to do a finger food reception. I am trying to compile a list of classic or good finger foods. Does anyone have any suggestions? What is your favorite finger foods?

I googled it really quick and found a lot, maybe try doing that. Pay attention to any holiday parties you go to and make a note of the finger foods you saw/liked.

Pigs in a blanket, cheese balls with crackers, fruits with dips (chocolate, cream cheese), mini pizzas, shrimp cocktail, mini quiches, cheese chunks.

Now I'm hungry.

Oh man, those delightful pinwheel meat and cheese thingies...

only they are thinner, wrapped in like a soft dough and bought in a box at sams club

My mom makes those with tortillas, lunch meat turkey, pesto, and some kind of sauce (cream cheese maybe) during the holidays. They are so yummy.

We looked at using these people for our catering, they have tons and tons of finger food ideas

party trays delivered to your location for the Fort Worth-Tx area.

Mmm I love taking the little weenies, wrapping them in a little bacon, sticking a tooth pick through them and putting a little brown sugar on them! mmm

I do these delicious crostini. Slice a baguette, brush with olive oil and toast in the oven (or you can skip this, I have in a rush before). Spread with herbed cheese spread (Alouette or other type) small bit of meat (the original recipe called for proisciutto) a tiny dollop of the cheese with a half a grape tomato set on top. SO yummy.

Another one I love is cooked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch thick pieces. On a toothpick, put 1/2 a kalmata olive, a leaf of fresh basil, 1/2 grape tomato (or a whole, up to you) and stab into each piece of sausage. Fun when you use gourmet flavors of sausage.
