So today I got my package from TheKnot.com. I used the $10 coupon and ordered my luncheon napkins (well, one set at least). I opened up the package, and the packing slip says napkins, but inside is a Lenox box..... I open it, it's a cake knife and server set.... a really pretty one I might add. I REALLY like the design (and I'm really on the fence about getting a set, I really only want a cake server since we're probably just getting a little cake for he and I to cut, and then a dessert spread for the rest of the guests.) So I open the server first, see if they have it emblazoned with our wedding info since the P/S says our info and wedding date..... Server is blank. Hmm..... okay? I open the other one...... um........ My name isn't Gina, and his name isn't Pete and we aren't getting married March of 2010.......

Yes folks, they sent me someone else's personalized serving set..... how sad is that???? What if the person who ordered it got it for a gift and it's now going to be late?? What's worse, I wanna call tomorrow, figure out where my napkins are, and ASK IF I CAN KEEP THIS SET for the inconvenience! (I only want the cake server, and it's not engraved!)


I'm just glad there's PLENTY of time before BOTH our weddings..... sheesh. At least mine was just some napkins!

I know it's not supposed to be...but it's funny. At first I read Gina with a long I...as in GIna! . Sorry that those numb nuts messed up your order. I think you should get to keep the server set too
