Progress?
Anyone else with a spring or summer 2010 wedding making anyheadway with your planning?
I just made my final 'deposit' on our site (both ceremony & reception, as well as out of town guest lodging). Balance will be due 30 days from our wedding date. I have my invites, just need to figure out wording and print. I need to order my zazzle postage though. I have my save the dates, and note cards to send with them, but again, need to figure out wording, print and get postage. I have my aisle runner and the silk petals, just need to stitch them on (no flower girl AND it's outside, so don't need them blowing away). I found my guest book, just need to replace the heart on it with a purple one so it matches (and the one on it is folded and creased). Have silver flip flops for backup and decided I'll be wearing my brown cowboy boots with my dress..... And then there's my dress. I need to keep looking. I have 3 I like, and several others I saw online I want to go try on..... If only I had a free weekend to go try them on.... But with DF leaving soon, I need to spend as much time with him as I can before he goes. I think I have a free weekend in early December, but I'll need to order my dress right about then so that's cutting it close..... Still need to call the florist and get some prices. I have a pretty good idea of what I want, just need to see how much it'll cost and if they can get the colors and types I want. Also need to call the bakery now that they have their store open where we're getting married. I'll need to taste some cake too, oh darn. May try to save that until he's home on 'R&R' next year....Also need to call some caterers as well as try to get an officiant lined up. At least I've got my photographer, though I need to get the contract signed and the deposit down..... Then I need to get my decorations lined up. Can't really make them till this spring though. Don't want to paint the pots now either or they might chip. But still not sure what else I want to do for decorations. Heck, I don't even know if I want to do a sand ceremony or what. I know I have a ton left to do..... I need to make a detailed list, or I'm gonna loose my mind.

I'm a March wedding as well.
Let's see - I have competed: Gifts for my bridesmaids We have the place (it's free, so no deposit required) We have our photographer We have our DJ We have our centerpieces We have our rings My dress has been ordered (off Etsy, it's being made for me) Registered at 1 out of 2 places We are going to be doing this month: Our engagement pictures Our invitations I am buying these artificial trees to make the room look smaller Deciding on food (His parents are paying for that) Finalizing the lay-out of the room Putting 1/2 down on this woman who will be setting up/taking down/providing linens Purchasing plates and the like Registering at our 2nd place Creating our website (it's how we're having everybody RSVP) In December we are going to: Send out the invitations (at the end of December, after Christmas) Purchase lights (right after Christmas, so they're all on sale) Pay the final payment for my dress By January, we are basically done, and just have to chill for 2 months until we can finally get hitched.
