Man of honor
My best friend on the planet is a guy. we have known each other our entire lives and he has been my best friend since day one. He is going to be my "man" of honor. Stand on my side, give the speech all that jazz. Now here is my question. He is a "DUDE" played football for Notre Dame full on alpha male is it wrong to call him "man of honor" if so any suggestions on how to list him in the program or does that sound manly enough? Also in your opinion should he wear the same tux as the groomsmen and have the same buttonire (sp?) or should I make his a little different?

I think man of honor is appropriate. How about having him wear a tux but with coordinating colors that match your bridesmaids instead of the groomsmen. (like the vest or tie or whatever)

Man of honor is good...my best friend just had her best male friend stand up for her in her wedding...he even held her bouquet while she was at the alter. I'll have to look at the pictures, but I think his tux was a little different than the groomsmen

I think the coordinating colors is a good idea, and then the other guys can wear a different color from him. That way he's different than them, but still manly.
