shoe question? - Page 2 - Weddings

Wear what you can wear for a whole day without being in pain! I wore heels, but they were low heels, and I can still wear those shoes for days without pain. I have a friend who wore thongs (um, flip flops, not the underwear). They were all sparkly and pretty, and looked awesome. Ballet flats are another option.

My SIL changed into tennis shoes for the reception. I don't think many people even noticed. Who cares anyway? I heard on the radio that people are giving out flip flops as wedding favors now so that all the women can change into comfortable shoes for the reception.

I have known people to wear flipflops and sandals, but never converse. My guess as to why the brides feet were like that is because she didn't wear in her shoes before hand. I wore my shoes around the house for like an hour a night for a month before the wedding and they were super comfy.

I wore some really tall gorgeous shoes for the ceremony and changed into some sperrys that were my wedding colors a little ways into the reception. My cousin got married two weeks ago and she changed into silver glitter Chucks for her reception. It was really cute because she's always in converse and they were fun. Wear what you want!

I am planning on wearing light blue ballet flats that will match my wedding color. I want to be comfy! I am sooo excited about it.

I think that wearing converse is a cool idea. It is your wedding, and it should reflect your personality!
