Eloping in Texas
Does anyone know of a good place to elope in texas? I'm several states away so the websites just aren't doing justice! It doesnt necessarily have to be around the Ft. Hood area but prefer the coast, southern, or eastern Texas.

 depends on what you are wanting to do, you can usually just find a judge to marry you. When me and xh got married we literally went to the courthouse walked around and found a judge. when our friends got married they had to make an appointment with a judge to get married.

i'm from southeast texas. the coast is nasty brown water and the sand is not pretty at all because everyone drives on the beach so it makes it all nasty. plus from the hurricane last year, everything is still being rebuilt. galveston has some nice hotels and the strand is fun as well. the water is still nasty brown there but it's not as bad as crystal beach. beaumont has some nice places. it's not on the coast but not too far. maybe 30-45 minutes.
