Flowers

I decided to focus on looking at flowers tonight. I wasn't looking at whole bouquets, just flowers specifically. I have it narrowed down to calla lilies, roses, phlox, narcissus and lavender. My color is lavender/purple, but I'm thinking white roses and narcissus, with purple/lavendar phlox and lavendar as filler. I can't decide if I want lavendar callas, or maybe just go with white roses with the rest as 'filler'. I don't want a huge bouquet either, so it would maybe be about 5 roses. Now I just need to find a florist up in the Big Bear area and figure out how much this is going to cost me....

My girls will have something small, similar to mine, maybe 2 roses each, or maybe something other than white. Not sure yet.

I can't decide if I want him to have a lavendar bout. or a rose with phlox since I'm not sure how he'll handle flowers at all (hay fever so he says.... but I think he just doesn't want to have to wear flowers.... he's never been bothered by any of the fresh flowers I've had in the house before!)

I'm putting silk flowers in the archway, and silk petals stitched to the aisle runner (since we'll be outside, don't want them to blow away). Decorations will be painted pots with mexican heather (tiny purple flowers with lots of green leaves). Haven't decided yet if I want flowers on the cake or not. We're just having a tiny cake for us to cut, the rest will be cupcakes or desserts of some kind. I just haven't found a cake top I like, though I'm leaning towards an etched heart with our names and wedding date on it.

Sigh....

Well, at least I think I figured out the flowers I want at the very least. Doin' good!
