Registry ?

I've heard mixed reviews on how registries went with target...problems with their return policy and other things.

If you registered with target how was it?

I know we're registering at bed, bath, and beyond, but I'm unsure if we should to targets or macys. Targets has a lot of stuff I want and it looks like they are cheaper for a lot of stuff (?), but macys has the rebate program. Opinions?

Don't know about Target or Macy's just have to tell you I loved being registered with BB&B.

I'm glad to hear that! So far I love it too! It was the only place I knew for sure I had to register.

We were going to go with BB&B but weren't fond of their registration process. You go into their store and sit with some lady for an hour or so. The lady tries to convince you that you need everything on their suggested list and then follows you around the store while you pick things out. Similar to being on an car lot - not for us.

We're actually registered with Macy's and Target. Target because they have just some simple things and open up a different price range for guests. (We didn't want $20 towels. ) We went with Macy's because we collect Fiesta ware and they carry it. It was the most amazing experience ever. Let me see if I can find my thread from the day after.

My best friend had a horrible time with Target, but I think we're going to give it a whirl anyway!

We did Target and Macy's. I liked them because after the wedding you get a discount on whatever is left on your registry.

I found the thread I made after registering with Macy's. Registry Bliss It was seriously amazing. You can look up when the next local event is on their website. They give you presents. There's also a lot of free things you can get based on what you register for with them. (Let me know if you go with them and I can look up that link for you.) We also get giftcards at the end and discounts on the leftovers.

I don't think I mentioned this in my first reply but with both Target and Macy's they essentially hand you the gun and send you on your way but are there to help if you need it. It was more our style.

I've done the free gift registry thing which is awesome! There's a local event thursday, but I have to work. boo. I hope they have another one soon. I love free gifts. I'm going to check out your link now. Thank you!!!

Does target do the discounts at the end? That looks like a huge plus for Macys!

Did you start your registry before you went to the macys event? I'm hoping they'll have another event I can go to soon, but I do want to start adding stuff to my registry.

I'm not CERTAIN that Target discounts leftovers but I THINK so.
