what is everyone doing for favors - Weddings

i wanted to do my own chocolate covered strawberries like do a double thing of a white and black one for the bride and groom with our monogram on it but then i also want to do something that they will always have to remember the day by- for that idea i thought of with their place cards to get a mini photo frame and on a piece of paper printed from the computer their name and a love quote or something like that??

That sounds nice! I LOVE chocolate covered strawberries!

DF and I are doing a charitable donation to the ASPCA in lieu of favors, and setting out cards at each place setting explaining that we made a donation in honor of our guests.

Well we were on a budget so we did a candy buffet as part of the reception and then had little boxes for each guest to fill for the favors.

We had the monogram theme all throughout everything at our wedding. Our favors were big cookies iced with our monogram.

We are making a donation to "The Wounded Warriors Project" in the name of our wedding. At each guests place setting there will be a little card that says "A donation has been made in your name to" blah blah with the website for the charity and a brief explanation of what they do.

John was very very adament about it. The charity helped one of his dear friends and he wanted to do something in return.

We did a candy bar also... Our wedding was all black and white so ALL of the candy choices where black and white. I loved it!

We did personalized white cowbells with our names on them. The kids LOVED them!!

ours was very simple & cheap! (we had to move our wedding up seven months so we ended up planning the entire thing in less than 5 weeks!!!) Here is a picture of ours tho! we got lots of compliments that they were cute so i was happy!
It says "A SPOONFUL OF KISSES FROM THE MR. & MRS."
