court house wedding in GA over R&R ???

we plan on getting married at the court house when he returns home for R&R next month. i googled most of everything i need to know but i cant find one thing.
how long does it take to get the marriage papers. cuz we have to get our baby and me on TriCare before he leaves. and i need to know how much time we'll need.
does anyone have any idea.
anything would help?

I would call the courthouse tomorrow and ask them. I'm sure they all vary.

Yeah, look up the state of GA. Every state has different regulations. We got married in WA and had to wait 72 hours after getting the marriage certificate to actually get married.

As far as enrollment in Tricare and all of that. It took us a day. It wasn't a huge ordeal. Make sure you get set up with a POA so that if something does go awry and he is gone, you can take care of it.

DD got married by JOP in march- she had her license signed that same day-

but this is for camden county- Atlanta is bigger and it may take a few days to a week.

and it will take only a day for your your DH to get everyhing set up for the ID and deers.
