Useless items...

I don't know, but to me, a cake cutter set & guestbook w/ pen seem useless.

For one, I am not a "pack rat" and it isn't appealing to me to place these items on a shelf for memories

I just see them as a waste of money.

I'll know who will be at my wedding & I'll remember it, why do I need to look at someone's siganiture?

And as for the cake cutting set, I'll never use it again

Ok, so I guess I can see buying a cake cutting set...but really, is it necessary for the guest book? I just don't care to waste $24 on some dumb john hancock

It would be cute to buy a big picture frame that people could sign and leave us a cute message, but w/ over a 100 guests, there wouldn't be enough room.

Yea I agree I wouldnt want to pay for something that people will just sign I think it's a waste of money too. Atleast with the cake cutter you have birthdays and stuff that you can use it with later on maybe.

Ahhh, hell no! We're aiming for May, but sometime between May & September.

Yeah, my parents said they'd help us out a bit and we had the small loan we took out, so it will work now If it weren't for their help, it wouldn't...

But we're doing the JOP this month Just going to exchange personalized vows in may.

We didn't purchase a cake set...someone who couldn't be at our wedding got it for us..that was nice. I don't think I would have ever bought one myslef either and the hotel would have provided one anyways. As far as the guest book...didn't do taht either..we got a matting and people signed that. We haven't picked a picture to put in it yet, but that way it's framed and not gathering dust...kwim.
