so i'm freaking out.... - Weddings

... i realized i really have no idea how things are supposed to go... like how the whole wedding is going to play out, and the flow of all the events.... and i keep discovering every day little details that i've somehow forgotten or overlooked.

if it weren't for alicia i'd be even more lost....

... like when do i give my BM their gifts? when do i give jas his? do i give the parents a gift?

hell, i had even forgotten that the night before the wedding, i couldn't stay with jason....

and i'm still trying to figure out what i want to do about babysitting for the out of town ppls kids (and maybe mine, not sure yet -- i'm thinking i want to have jenna and zoe at the reception) and i don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a service to watch them and most of the ppl i trust with them will be at the wedding... so that's a little stressful.

and then there's the issue of how we want to get back to the reception from the wedding... i do not want to pay for a limo or a town car.... and then there's supposed to be a decorated "getaway" car... but we're not going on a honeymoon, so it's not like we're really going anywhere...

i could keep typing, but i'm just making myself more crazy.

is this normal to freak out 9 weeks before the wedding??!?!?!

Totally normal! My sister was a basket case 4 months before and it just got worse!

Couldn't tell ya...I planned mine in 10 weeks

I'm sure everything will come together fine though! As far as the gifts, you do that at the rehearsal dinner, and with babysitting the kids, do you have any friends whose parents live in town that could watch them? Or see if your friends can suggest people they would trust.

Planning the wedding can get REALLY stressful- if you have specific questions though PM me- I would love to help! I work with a wedding planner and have a few weddings under my belt as well

Here is what you do:

Step back from everything, take a few deep breaths, let people help you out and try to relax. It will ALL work out and you will have the most wonderful day of your life because you are GETTING MARRIED to a wonderful man and you are surrounded by wonderful people to help you get thru all of this.
