Anyone had a Disney Wedding? - Weddings

Was it ridiculously expensive? Did you HAVE to use their florist for stuff? Any tips on what to do and not to do?

oh i would love to get married there! i'm curious about this too, i was going to look into it when i was engaged the last couple of years but never did, which works because we broke up but i'd still love to do it.

Oh my gosh... I watched a special the Food Network did on Disney weddings. It was so amazing!!! They had a huge price range depending on where you have it and how many people. They have planners that will work with you so all the vendors work through Disney. You can even have some of the characters show up for you wedding. It was really neat!! They have some awesome cakes too!!! Very cute idea!!!

Well...did you do the whole package thingie? Like the "you have to have XX number of people and it's $10k minimum for it?" I'm kinda confused on how that works and whether or not there are certain things I HAVE to use of theirs...

Like for example, their flowers are like uber expensive...and I'm thinkin, "hey! It's Florida! There has to be a million flower shops for cheap!"

Or the centerpieces for the tables and whatnot?

Were they snotty to deal with and kinda pushy with pickin expensive options and whatnot? We're not cheap, but I don't wanna be screwed for what I'm getting, ya know?
