When I got married the 1st time it wasn't a "real" wedding with all that nice things that go along. So, Im sincerely lost even thinking about one.

Your wedding party... brides maid, maid of honor, groomsmen and best man.... do they pay for their own dresses or do you foot the whole bill?

And also... how many of you have had an outside wedding? I want to get married by a preacher.. Josh's Dad will do it we have already decided that hands down... but Josh's Dads church is sooooo tiny and I don't really have one and I since I have the pastor picked out I can't just rent someone elses church

So... what about outside? We live near Panama City Beach and theres some nice places there... I would love to get married in a nice park like with beautiful flowers and all but I don't know where one is...
What are your takes on outside wedding? And also the other question I asked. And any other info would be great too!

We did an outside wedding and will do one again for our vowel renewal. I think it would be awesome to have a one outside. Are you looking at Summer time?

And for your bridesmaid its your choice to make them pay or you pay. In todays society i see nothing wrong with having them pay for themselves as long as you pick something inexpensive that they can all afford.

Outside weddings are always beautiful, but in FL watch your timing! I could only have our wedding in July, we both wanted a beach wedding. No hurricanes had come our way that early in the season but last yr Dennis decided to come my wedding weekend. I had 24 hrs to change my complete wedding. So timing is the only real issue, for weather reasons!
Your wedding party purchases their own apparel. Some people buy their shoes or jewelry for them as their gift, I didn't though. JUst tried to find inexpensive items, and had their input the whole time on pricing.

I would love outside... if we do it late spring-fall but inside for winter.
When I was a bridesmaid for my friends wedding in highschool we paid for our own dresses... she got them and we all paid her back. They were $65 I think from JCPenny and nice.

Haha! Yeah it all looked clear till like the day before... I was devestated but my boss is a big player in our area so he helped me out BIGtime! Spring would be safe for you though!
Yeah I bought their dresses all together, and then they paid me back later. And i added the ribbon to their dresses, always easy to find something plain and then add what you want. Cheaper too.

We had an outdoor wedding..it was beautiful, it was 8pm at night in July and then sun was beginning to set, so pretty...we are renwin our vows in Aug of next year and we plan to do it outside as well.
