How much did you spend on your dress?
I found one I really like (im either going to go with red or marine for the accent color) but it's $649.00.

That's a gorgeous dress! If you really want it I'm sure you can budget in other areas to compensate for the cost

Mine was off the high street and cost 200 gbp/$400 (which is really cheap by UK standards!)

Mine was around $50 but my MIL gave me a gift card so I paid nothing.

I spent more on my dress than everything else combined We had a really small wedding, only 10 people including us, but I still wanted my dream dress. It was $1400.

Were not going to have to spend very much on what he's wearing, because he's going to be in dress blues. Hopefully we can have the ceremony at my moms church, an the reception on base at the ballroom. Plus I worked with the photographer that I want to have so Im hoping they will give me a discount.

there is another one on davids bridal that i was going to get for 500 dollars, but because we are just having a really small ceremony for now (i had to plan it alone in a month!) i just got somthing smaller and more simple

its 100 dollars on sale right now and from JC Penny

but when i have a big wedding... you KNOW im gonna get the big pretty expensive dress!!

We have over a year to plan our wedding. Once the holidays are over were getting down to busness on getting locations! An he wants to have the The Arch of Sabers thing. He asked me if im ok getting swatted on the butt

yeah... we wanted to get married right away.. or we would be doing a whole big elaborate thing... but we decided to do that later when we have more moolah.

but im gonna make the dress i bought SUPER pretty

I designed my dress and my mom constructed it for me (I didn't have time to do that part). We bought really nice designer fabric for it and ended up spending about $500-600 on fabric alone. Add in the cost of labor/design/time, it would have been a very expensive dress.
