Gift for the Groom
I am a little less than 4 weeks away from the wedding, and with it being right at Christmas time, it is hard to think of both a Christmas present and a gift for him at the wedding. He's got several watches...so I don't think that would be good for him. He's getting an Ipod from his mom for Christmas. So cross that out. I was thinking of a digital camera, but I don't know if he would really use it....
So what did you get your guy as a gift on your wedding day??

Oh girl I am right there with you! When is your wedding?? Ours in the 28th and we both have no idea what to do for gifts...
One of the things I was thinking for him was a personalized gift like cuff links with his initials or even a new wallet he always likes those sorts of things....just a thought!

as for a gift... im getting his wedding band engraved. its really all i can do right now what with paying for xmas gifts and the wedding. im with the other chica on here... i think ME will be enough of a gift otherwise

I didn't get my hubby a gift when we got married, but he gave me a ring with a pearl surrounded by diamond chips. Nothing too expensive, but it was very nice and unexpected.
If I were getting something, I think I would put my money into something that you can engrave with both of your initials and your wedding date. Perhaps a very nice lighter or man's bracelet.

we didnt give each other gifts. the whole wedding was $$$$$ enough, we didnt see the point in spending more money on each other. i'm kinda under the impression that the wedding bands are supposed to be the gifts anyway. we "bought" each others which is kinda silly considering they were paid for through a joint account

Ahhh.....I think I figured it out! Instead of giving him a gift or having him give me a gift. Since we are so close to Christmas, I think we are just going to get one of those kids names off of the tree and get THEM something instead! I was reading through Christmas traditions and it just hit me!!!
