Night wedding??? - Weddings

anyone thought/ had a wedding at night?? I'm thinking outside, in a gazebo with lots of candles & lanterns, and a tea length or cocktail dress. Then the families going to a nice restaurant afterwards.

Our goal is a small, inexpensive wedding...what do you think?

We did a 7pm wedding the sun was setting right as the ceremony was finishing. It was awesome!

I wanted a wedding at night as well, and I got one. I had planned it though in the winter and invisioned candles and darkness, very formal etc. Too bad I got married in August and it the sun was still shining for all it was worth!

But it was still the best day of my life....

But back to you, yes it sounds lovely. Simple. Elegant.

It sounds great...I had a night wedding too...We hang fairy lights around so it was even more romantic. Maybe you can do that around the Gazebo like a light curtain....

Sounds good. Mine is going to start at 7pm too. I think there is just something more....romantic about the night wedding....so yours sounds really good!

ive been to one, it really was aesome! It was outside on the deck area part of the big old building their reception was in. They had a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception. But yea they had candles up the aisle and all around the platform they stood on, as well as big tall candleabra things around. gorgeous!!
