My Wedding Plans! Part One.
So as it turns out, DF and I just could NOT wait to be together, so I ended up having to plan my wedding in THREE MONTHS! No biggie. It's actually going really good. And considering that I didn't want anything extravagant, or big (even if I did have a lot of time) it works out. So anyways, I'm going to be asking ya'll's wonderful opinions from time to time as I continue this crazy process!
![]() So, we decided that as our favors at the reception, we would set up and "candy buffet." We're using different sizes and shapes of glass containers filled with our favorite candies on a table near or around our cake and decorating the table will be different frames that have pictures of us. As people leave, they can stop by the "buffet" and fill up a little bag of candy that will say something like our names and the wedding date on it and a thank you note attatched. Sound like a good idea?

I had to do the same thing! We actually got married asap, then had a ceremony a bit bigger before we left for GUam!
ANYWAYS...I had a candy buffet and it was a HUGE hit! There is a website, groovycandies.com( i think...) that you can order candy by color! I just did jelly bellies, it was easiest. And I bout a few oversized wine glasses to put them in. I bought little sachet bags, from hobby lobby and set them on a platter next to it and had directions for what to do with everything by it. People still are asking me about it! Have fun with it!!! Good luck with the planning!
