car parts? - Wanted

This is more of a vent/ maybe someone has one in their living room thread.

So after buying a battery for my car, turns out it was the alternator. So I need an alternator for a 2002 Mitsubishi lancer OZ rally

I'm just guessing that when she turned over the key to start the car and it didn't start....the first instinct was that the battery was no longer any good. After replacing the battery, it still didn't start....then realized it was probably the alternator?

OHhhhh I see! I thought she bought a battery that turned out to be an alternator masquerading as a battery!
