Wanted: Laptop Tray/Breakfest in Bed Tray

I need a tray to put my laptop on while im in bed. I dont want those trays that are on a beanbag that you put on your lap, im looking for more like a breakfest in bed type table thingy....

Im looking to spend around $20-$25 including shipping so if you have one you want to get rid of or know where I could find a great deal I would really apperciate it!

You sure about your price range - they have some fancy schmancy ones for almost $100 .. and shockingly enough its called "The Bed Tray Shoppe"

This is the one im looking at... kinda like it, but think im gona shop around a little more

I made ours!! I used a piece of plywood cut to size- a remnant of fabric some foam, a staple gun and some ribbon and some paint we had laying around-

DH cut the ply wood- from some he had left over- I had some fabric and cut it to fit the plywood allowing for some over hang on the edges- I went out and bought a bag of $3.00 foam and cut it to fit the plywood, fit it together folding the fabric over the edges and stapling on the bottom, I then glued the ribbon along the edges for a finished look-
Oh and I painted the board to match the fabric-
total cost about 5.00.

you two are one crafty pair... however unless you are bored and want to take on another project, i don't think I will be able to pull that off myself!

Pshaw - sweetheart did you see the craftiness that I spewed today (in TallBlondies weekend thread)? we could sooooo do this. But the supplies would probably cost as much as that one you are looking at on ebay. Your call.

If I had any energy Id be sketching it now, but Im too tired - lets just say it would involve hinges.

Ooooh, I got an AWESOME one at Walmart! It works as both a food tray and a laptop tray for bed... has four legs that fold up, 3/4 of it is on a hinge so you can tilt your computer up, it has a light built into it and a side area for a mouse. Plus like pencil storage... it is AWESOME! Let me try to dig up the link...
