No Never...No More!

What were some of the things you looked for in the practice? Best things to notice and things that would deter you elsewhere? I know treatments aren't cheap to say the least and I just want to make sure we find a good place and would really appreciate ANY advice I could get from those who've been there.
![]() This is the place my doctor has referred us into (without the year wait...minus the year deployment wait. ) North Carolina Infertility Specialists - Carolina Conceptions I really like what I see on their site and she is a WONDERFUL, caring individual and this was where she worked beforehand. If they're all like her then we're blessed. We're just waiting at this point for J to get back. PLUS they like you to start charting and etc,.. three months in advance. My past HX so far is I had a son PRIOR to meeting DH, he was a preemie, with preterm labor @29wks and at 34wks when he was born. This past year lost twin 1 in March, twin 2 in April....then chemical pregnancy is August. (Some will rem. me posting two pos. preg tests then neg.) Depending on how you look at it that's 2 or 3 repeated miscarriages...blah. So they're thinking it either has to do with my hormone levels and the quality of my follicle WITHOUT the aid of Clomid OR Genetic problems on J's side. (I pray it's not the latter.) J is said we will do whatever we have to financially to make this happen but I don't think realizes just how much some of these treatments cost. ![]() I just like to get a head start on things AND I'm trying to be optimistic so, like I said, any advice would help.

I was seen at an MTF (Tripler) so my experience might be a little different. I had multiple miscarriages, so I went through a lot of testing. The thing I liked best about my Doctor was she talked to me like a person, and treated me for the physical as well as the emotional. When I DID get pregnant, she took the time to talk me through the first few weeks before sending me back to regular OB/GYN (well, high-risk). My DH did have to have some genetic testing and a semen analysis, but most of the testing was me. In the end, I was found to have a blood-clotting disorder and some auto-immune issues which were treated with blood thinners and close monitoring. Good luck, and I hope your doctor is great
