No Cycle for 10 Mos... **UPDATE**
Hi, I am new here, but I need a little advice or clarification on a few things. My last menstrual cycle was on Jan 1st of this year. Hubby and I want to start TTC, but I am afraid I am going through premature menopause. I have always had irregular cycles in the past, but nothing in this duration. The doctors at the Naval Hospital keep giving me the run around of possibilities, but haven't/won't run any tests...
I am sooooo frustrated!!! UPDATE: So, I am finally having major PMS symptoms... I think I may actually get a cycle soon... Keep your fingers crossed for me to return to normalcy... Or, by some freak chance, I am pregnant... Last edited by HollyDee; 11-07-2009 at 01:15 AM. Reason: Update added. :) |

are you not on any type of birth control? How old are you? If they won't do something about it you need to find someone who will! Push for your rights hun!

Thats what I face in my fertility issues... periods and no ovulation. I was diagnosed with PCOS and had to take meds to induce ovulation and that gave me cycles as long as I was on it and ovulated. I haven't had mine since DS was born 4.5mths ago so Im getting bummed about having to go through all the steps to get pregnant again. Took 2 years with Logan.
Good luck! I hope its an easy fix! The ovulation meds was our miracle.

My Dr told me that you shouldn't go more than 3 months without a period. I'm glad you have an appt. Once you see your Dr, ask them how long they are comfortable with you going w/o a period. I also don't get my period but very rarely, i have to have it enduced every month. I am pretty sure I don't ovulate either, i have my first serious ttc appt on Nov 30th. So I'm right here with you girl!

arent you a little young for premature menopause?? thats crazy.. i would kick the doc that told you that...anyways good luck and hopefully you can get preggo
